16 million engines at Valladolid Motores

The Valladolid Motores plant in Spain produced its 16 millionth engine on 31 January 2008 – a K9 diesel engine for Mégane. The site, opened 43 years ago, manufactures two types of engine, the K4 petrol and K9 diesel, producing some 1,173,831 units in 2007.
