Farid Aractingi as chairman of the French Institute of Internal Audit and Internal Control

Farid Aractingi, Audit, Risk Management and Organization Director at Renault, was appointed Chairman of the French Institute of Internal Audit and Internal Control, IFACI, at the Annual Shareholders’ Meeting on April 12, 2012. He is renowned for his work at IFACI, where, among other responsibilities, he headed the Internal Control of Information Systems unit, an assignment that led to the publication of a paper and the introduction of a training course.

He won the 2008 Hintze prize, has organized three training courses since 2009 and since 2010 has sat on the IFACI board, where he chaired the Audit Committee in 2011. In parallel, after working as Internal Audit Director at Renault from 2007 to 2011, he was named Audit, Risk Management and Organization Director in October 2011. This entity groups internal audit, the risk management and internal control units, organization and management consultancy.


Farid Aractingi is an engineering and management graduate of Ecole des Mines and also holds a degree in History and an Executive MBA from Wharton.
