23 June 2016  21:00

The new Dacia Sandero Stepway Extrême is the Group's second model to be manufactured at the Renault Algeria Production plant in Oued Tlelat near Oran. The car, production of which began in June 2016, benefits from high quality and safety standards. The new Dacia Sandero Stepway is produced in Algeria exclusively for the Algerian market.

The model, which has gained popularity thanks to its affordable price tag, high-up seating position and attractive design, offers the right features to satisfy the demands of local consumers. Both vehicles produced in the Algerian plant, namely the new Renault Symbol and the new Dacia Sandero Stepway Extrême, are eligible for consumer loans.

In 2015, Dacia was Algeria’s second top-selling brand, with 16% of market share. The brand multiplied its sales tenfold in ten years, with 251,000 vehicles sold at end-2015. The Logan and the Duster lead their market segment with respective segment share of 29% and 47%. The Dacia Sandero, launched in 2008 and redesigned in 2013, ranks third in its segment, with 17% of sales.
