Jean-Christophe Kugler appointed as Senior VP, Euromed* Region Management Committee leader

Born in 1961, Jean-Christophe Kugler holds an engineering degree from the Ecole Centrale Nantes. He joined the process engineering R&D center at Renault in 1984. In 1989, he became Section Manager, Quality-Control engineering, before moving to the Maubeuge site in 1994 as Head of the Quality department for the launch of Kangoo. In 1998, he took charge of the Quality department at the Cordoba site in Argentina.
In 2000, he came Head of Production Vehicles with the Painted Body Engineering Department at Guyancourt, then Head of Body Shop Engineering between 2002 and 2005 and Assistant Director between 2005 and 2006. From 2006 to 2008, he was Director of the Small Commercial Vehicle Program and then the I Range Program. As of October 1, 2008, Jean-Christophe Kugler is Senior Vice President, Light Commercial Vehicles Division.
Jacques Chauvet was born in 1948. He graduated from ENSA in Rennes (France) and holds a postgraduate degree in economics. He joined Renault's automobile planning department in 1978 and held various positions with the corporate secretary (1981), the North American operations department (1984) and corporate services (1987).
He was appointed Corporate controller and Head of financial affairs at the International Operations Department in 1989, position to which is added the management of Latin American operations in 1991. Jacques Chauvet went on to become in 1995 general manager of Oyak-Renault in Turkey and director of Middle East/Eastern Europe. He was named Vice President, Parts & Accessories in 1999. He was appointed Senior Vice President, Market Area France on January 1, 2005. On March 1, 2009, he becomes Leader of the Euromed* Region.
