Jean-Pierre Laurent appointed CEO of Renault España

Jean-Pierre Laurent has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Renault España. He replaces Juan Antonio Fernández de Sevilla, who has been with the company for 26 years. A graduate of ESSEC, Jean-Pierre Laurent joined the Renault group in 1977. He was named CEO of Renault Retail Group, Renault's distribution subsidiary, in 2006. His responsibilities increased in July 2008 when he was chosen to co-manage the G4 subsidiaries of Market Area, Europe (Germany, the UK, Spain and Italy).
