New production site for the 1.5 dCi engine

On June 20, 2008, Renault gave its approval for the Bursa plant in Turkey to manufacture the 1.5 dCi engine. Production at Bursa has been added to that at Valladolid Motores in Spain to meet the rising demand for this economical and efficient diesel engine, which has been extremely well received by customers. The engines produced in Turkey are mainly intended for vehicles assembled and marketed in the Euromed region (Eastern Europe, Turkey and Maghreb).
