Renault Mobiliz supports car sharing with the ZOE in a social housing development near Paris!

On July 8, Renault Mobiliz, MOPeasy and Coopimmo inaugurated an innovative car-sharing service for the residents of Coopimmo’s latest property development in La Queue-en-Brie, a suburb southeast of Paris.
The 20-appartment residency, named L’Arc Boisé, was designed to enable people with low incomes to become homeowners. It features a ZOE electric car and a charging station, thereby offering residents an affordable and environmentally-friendly solution for occasional driving needs.

Says Eric Feunteun, Head of Groupe Renault’s Electric Division, “The car sharing solution proposed at L’Arc Boisé shows that the ZOE, which is the leading electric car in France and Europe, is particularly well-suited for car sharing. This partnership with La Queue-en-Brie confirms that both car sharing and electric vehicles are not just ideal for city centres but are also perfectly adapted to more rural areas as well.”

The inhabitants of L’Arc Boisé can benefit from this eco-mobility solution through a simple subscription via the MOPeasy sharing platform. During the first year, ten hours of use per month will be allotted to each household for the token sum of four euros per month. The cost of each additional hour is seven euros. Users can reserve the car on the platform and pick up the keys in a safe box on the charging station. MOPeasy also offers 24/7 technical assistance.
The service has already been successfully implemented in Les Ecosphères, a residence in Savigny-le-Temple south-east of Paris, and will be a part of all Coopimmo projects in the future.
