Renault silently enters the gardens of the Château de Versailles

12 March 2013  03:30

For Le Nôtre Year, the Château de Versailles is reasserting its respect for the environment and commitment to sustainable development. And who better than Renault – the world’s only carmaker to market a complete range of full-electric vehicles – to work with it to that end?

Renault and the Château de Versailles have formed a partnership to protect the gardens of the palace, which are hundreds of years old, and reduce the sound pollution emitted by onsite work vehicles. This spring, twelve Kangoo Z.E.s, nine Twizys and two ZOEs will be taking to the pathways of the park, to the delight of the flora, fauna and visitors.
