Renault top management appointment

Effective June 3 ^rd 2014, Jean-Michel Billig , Executive Vice President, Engineering, Quality and IS/IT will leave the Group to work on personal projects. We wish Jean-Michel Billig good luck in his future endeavours.

Effective today, Gaspar Gascon Abellan is appointed Executive Vice President Engineering and becomes member of the Renault Executive Committee. He will report to Thierry Bolloré , Chief Competitive Officer.

Quality Department and Information Systems Department report to the Chief Competitive Office .

Born in Spain in 1965, Gaspar Gascon Abellan has an engineer degree from Escuela Tecnica Superior de Ingenieros Aeronauticos (Madrid). He began his career at Renault in 1990 in Spain. In 2005, he became VP, Diesel Engine Projects and then VP, Powertrain Projects, Plan & Partnerships in 2011. In 2012, he became VP, Head of Powertrain Engineering for Renault.
