The Ayrton Senne Curitiba plant produced the 150,000 vehicles' mark

Ayrton Senna: a famous name for a dynamic plant. On last February 7, the Curitiba light commercial plant reached the 150,000 vehicles' mark since its creation in 1998. To celebrate it, a special event was organized at the end of the line which gathered the whole team around the managing director of the plant and the manufacturing manager. The Ayrton Senna complex is a concrete proof of the Renault-Nissan Alliance, because close to Master, the plant also manufactures Nissan Frontier and Livina.
Brazilian production allows to supply its domestic market (32,200 units), as well as its main neighbors : Argentina (4,772), Colombia (221), Peru (110) and Paraguay (89).
The Curitiba plant accompanies the growth of the market of the Americas Region. In 2010, the Total Industry Vehicle has put up a 2 digits progression, with an increase of 20.5% in 2010 (1,171 million units). Renault, on this market is on the same increase trend with a progression of 21.9% of its sales and has a 2.35% of market share.
