On June 3 rd , the Ecole Polytechnique hosted the national finals of the 9 th annual edition of " Course en Cours ". This competition, on the theme of Formula 1 cars, brings together some 10,000 secondary school students and their teachers, from all over France. The final caps a year in which the students, working in groups of four to six, designed assembled and tested small-scale models with the support of their teachers. A studious but nevertheless festive exercise, in which some one hundred, assistants and students were able to drive Renault ZOE and Twizy or, in the case of the younger students, try them out from the passenger seat.

This year, "The Fifth Element" team from Fénélon school in Nevers, central France, won the 9 th annual edition.

We should also mention the fine work of the other winners on the podium: in second place, the "Androtech" team from Paul Langevin school in Beauvais, outside Paris, and, in third place, the "United For Race" team from Pierre and Marie Curie school in St. Lô, Normandy.

New in 2015: The Design Award presented by Renault Design goes to the fortunate members of "Deadly Trap" team from Voltaire school in Lourches, northern France.
