Thierry Braems appointed CEO of Groupe Renault Retail

On September 1, 2012, Thierry Braems, 48, was appointed CEO of Groupe Renault Retail and member of the Commercial Management Committee, replacing Gilles Messier.
After graduating from Rouen ESC business school in 1986, he started his career in February 1988 with the Groupe Renault, occupying a number of positions in sales and marketing in Germany and France. In April 2001, he joined Groupe Renault Retail as director of sales, marketing and services and member of the Management Committee before being promoted, three years later, to the post of director of operations, Europe.
In September 2009, he became sales and marketing director, LCVs for Renault SAS.
