17 July 2015  17:00

• Renault's Batilly plant and MASTER celebrated their 35th anniversary on 16 July

• Tony Parker came to meet employees working on the assembly lines

Although he is busy training for the European basketball championships, Tony Parker wanted to launch the anniversary festivities with employees in the Lorraine region, which has always been connected with basketball in France.

He was welcomed on 16 July by the Renault Batilly plant's managing director, Anne Renaud-Abboud. After praising the employees' commitment, he dribbled a few balls with enthusiasts. And he met about 3,000 of the employees who are putting their expertise into assembling MASTER, the leader in its segment on the French market.

At the end of his visit, Tony Parker, who is an Ambassador for the Renault brand, had the chance to start the engine of a MASTER. By turning the ignition key, he symbolically brought the manufacturing process to an end.
